The 42^ndTsinghua University Student Delegates Meeting was held in the auditorium on December 18, 2016. Shi Zongkai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tsinghua University, and Vice President You Zheng attended the meeting.

The meeting deliberated and passed the work report of the 41^stStudent Union, deliberated and passed the student union charter (amendment), heard the draft resolutions of the 42^ndStudent Delegates Meeting, and elected the members of the President Qualification Committee of the 42^ndStudent Union. After the meeting, the 1^ststanding delegates meeting of the 42^ndStudent Union was held, at which 2013-enrolled undergraduate Li Qiufu from School of Social Sciences was elected as President of the 42^ndStudent Union of Tsinghua University.

Resume of Li Qiufu:

Li Qiufu, male, Han, member of CPC, born in August 1995.He was admitted to School of Social Sciences (SSS), Tsinghua University in 2013, and in 2014 he started to study for the Bachelor of Economics as his second academic degree. He is now qualified to directly study for SSS doctor's degree without sitting for the examination. At present, he is President of the SSS Student Union. Previously, he was appointed as Head of the Volunteers’ Group under the SSS Communist Youth League Committee (CYLC), Chairman of SSS TMS, Head of the Organization Department under the CYLC of Tsinghua University, etc. Besides, he once obtained the social practice scholarship of Tsinghua University, Tsinghua social work scholarship, Tsinghua voluntary public service scholarship as well as the honor of Tsinghua four-star volunteer and honor of Tsinghua outstanding student cadre.
