Tsinghua Sociological Review won the "2017 Outstanding Academic Journal Award"
On November 25, 2017, the sixth annual conference of humanities and social sciences was jointly held by the Social Sciences Academic Press and the Overseas Chinese University in Xiamen. The theme of this annual conference was “Internationalization of academic journals and Chinese academics”. More than 200 experts and scholars from the local Academy of Social Sciences, universities and research institutes gathered together to jointly contribute to the long-term development of China's periodicals. The Social Science Publications 2017 Annual Outstanding Academic Journal Award was released. Thirteen publications such as "The Tsinghua Sociological Review" sponsored by the Department of Sociology of Tsinghua University received the "2017 Outstanding Academic Collection Award."
Since its inception in 2000, Tsinghua Sociological Review has always had the purpose of “faced with the real problems of Chinese society, focusing on the practical logic in the transition period, and promoting the study of localization theories”.
