Introduction
Yizhang ZHAO (赵一璋), Associate Professor of Sociology in the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University. She attained her BA in Sociology at Renmin University, MA in Sociology at Tsinghua University, MSc in Social Research Methods and Statistics at University of Manchester, where she was also awarded her Ph.D. in Social Statistics. After receiving her doctorate, she worked as a Post-doctoral Researcher at University of Oxford and as a Lecturer (Fixed-Term) in the Department of Social Statistics at University of Manchester. Before joining Tsinghua University, she was a Lecturer (Permanent) in the School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University. Her main research interests include digital sociology, social stratification and mobility, and quantitative research methods. Her previous research has been published in internationally renowned journals, including The British Journal of Sociology, Sociology, Social Science and Medicine, and Research in Social Stratification and Mobility, etc.
